Midjourney review for freelancers
Text-to-image generator known for stylised artwork.
Our review
Midjourney generates images from text prompts and is popular for stylised concept art and mood boards. Its documentation lists four paid plans from $10 to $120 per month, billed by fast GPU time, with unlimited relaxed generation from Standard up. There is no free tier. It is popular for ideation, but output is raster only, and the commercial-use terms depend on your company's revenue, so read them before delivering client work.
Pros
- Stylised image output
- Plans scale with usage
- Good for concept and mood boards
Cons
- No free plan
- Output is raster, not vector
- Read commercial-use terms before client work
